Phew Its Been A Busy One.....
9:18pm - Aug 2, 2009
Well what a weekend we have had. The weather has been kind and the company has been good.
We spent yesterday at Blair Drummond Safari Park with a full Workshop. Firstly thanks to our two ladies and gentleman for joining us and we hope that you had as much fun as we did (you know who you are). It was lovely to meet you all and look forward to meeting you again soon. The park staff were again outstanding as usual and didnt disappoint.
Today we had an early start with a one to one workshop at Highland Wildlife Park. The weather was changeable to begin with but turned into a lovely afternoon. Thank you to todays client and we hope that you enjoy the remainder of your stay in Scotland. The main attractions of the day had to be the Japanese Macaque baby and the 3 Amur Tiger Cubs, they are adorable!! We are looking forward to the Red Deer Rut this year as they are looking in spectacular condition and with 3 adult Stags things could get interesting. The polar bear enclosure is coming on quickly and we are sure that Mercedes will settle in quickly and enjoy her new home in the Highlands.
We have cleared some weekday availability for one to one workshops and so if you have a day spare and would like to join us on a one to one workshop at one of our locations then please contact us.
Its Been A Long Time Coming.....
9:30pm - Jul 31, 2009
Its been a long time coming but we have finally got round to setting up our "Blog". It will be updated at least weekly so that we can tell you about the exciting goings on at Go Wild Scotland. Please save our site to your favourites and keep checking back for news, new dates and new workshops. We have been incredibly busy recently dealing with your enquiries and updating our Licensed Image Gallery with new shots from our outings. Arron has been out and about gathering various images of Red Squirrels, Ospreys, Red Kites (see our Special Red Kite Workshop) and various other native species. Our website has had a makeover, hopefully making it a little more user friendly. Any comments would be very welcome!!We have recently delivered our first newsletter (August 2009). If you have been missed or would like a copy then please drop us an email and we would be happy to send you one and include you in future mailings.Greener View magazine, Scotland's only dedicated magazine for greener living has chosen to use one of Go Wild Scotlands Red Kite images for their front cover. It is exciting times for us as they have also agreed to carry out an editorial about us and what we do. This magazine is available for subscription but is also available from many outlets. See www.greenerview.co.uk for further details. We have added additional dates for our Workshops, due to demand, and so if you are considering coming with us this year would recommend you get in quickly as places are very limited. Our Special Red Kite Workshop is filling up and so please take advantage of this £65 full day workshop (inc light buffet lunch) - see our website for details and to book.2010 dates coming soon, they should be on our website by the end of August. A Go Wild Scotland workshop would make a fabulous Christmas gift......Hope to meet you soon.Arron & Kirsty
