GO WILD SCOTLAND

TESTIMONIALS

Hi Arron & Kirsty,

just wanted to say a really big thank you for yesterday.  You guys work tirelessly to make sure your clients have a good time, and I can assure you that this client had a ball!

If you get time, have a look at my flickr and feel free to crit any of my pics.

I look forward to meeting up with you guys again in the near future.  Best of luck with the business. Take care,

Tommy

Hi Arron,

Massive thanks for taking me around the Highland Wildlife Park at the beginning of the month. I had an amazing experience and with your guidance and knowledge I managed to greatly improve my photography.

At the end of the day I took another walk round for some more practice and got some great one's of the Tiger's and even seen the elusive Lynx on the way out. Seeing the Red Squirrels made my day though.

Can not thank you enough for sharing your knowledge, I learned loads and excited now to get out and take more wildlife photos.

I can't recommend this experience highly enough.

Thanks again Arron, I will look to book another workshop with Bird's of Prey next time.

Thanks for all the tips and sharing your knowledge.

Hi Arron

Just wanted to write and thank you for a great day at the Highland Wildlife Park on Saturday. I do wish I'd had more then 24 hours to get to know my camera better, but I still got some good photos! I know Steve took away a lot of information, I'm sure he will tell you that himself if, he hasn't already. It was also refreshing to have someone talk about the animals and some of their behaviour rather than just about camera settings.

Thanks again
Best wishes
Fiona

Hi Arron - Thanks for a great day at the park yesterday. You gave me plenty of food for thought, although I'll probably continue to be too lazy to shoot with Raw! You can see a few of my shots on my Flickr Site.

Thanks again

Russell

Hi Arron

Just to let you know how much I enjoyed the day at Blair Drumond Safari park.  It was a fantastic day and I am still trying to go through my many photos.  The staff at the park were superb and getting some extra special treatment was much appreciated.

I hope to be able to send you a few photos. I particularly like one I have of the sea eagle just about to grab the lure in the water.

Bye for now.

Moira

PS. Kirsty, hope to meet you the next time I book.

In spite of some traditional Scottish weather, we had a good day.  I got some really nice shots, picked up a number of useful tips and developed elements of good practice.

I  had an excellent day, thank you.

I may book again next year for Blair Drummond and I will pass the word around on your excellent value workshops.

Thanks again,

Terry

Hi, Arron and Kirsty,

Thank you for the great day out at the Highland wildlife park, we had a very nice day and your advice was very helpful.  We also appreciate assistance and attention from the park staff, especially Becky and Jonathan, highly competent and kind people who really love all the animals in the park.

We called into Blair Drummond on the way back to Newcastle, It's a really nice place and a great opportunity to take some good photographs, we particularly like the birds of prey display, we watched every one of their displays. We took lots of photo's some came out good, ( we think).

Kind Regards

Steve & Nadia

Hi Kirsty,

As promised attached are some photos from the workshop the delay being I have just returned from holiday.

I have sent various images I thought interesting lions eating, birds in flight and with eye contact. Can you and Arron cast your experienced / critical eye and provide me with feedback as I am still on a learning curve.

Can I also say I thoroughly enjoyed the day it was interesting and met all my expectations the flexibility of where we could go and the experience of the Park Ranger was invaluable.

I intend keeping in touch and hopefully catch up with you again for further workshops.

Thanks,

Ronnie

Hi Kirsty & Arron,

Just a note to say thankyou for a great day at the wildlife park last month & to send a couple of photos to look at taken on that day, which I am rather pleased with.

I will certainly contact you again if I get the chance to come back to the Highlands and have time for some real wildlife photography.

Best wishes,

Anne

i will second the venture, a fantastic day out. Arron and Kirsty organised special events for the day (lion on post, a fly past air display to finish day lol).

really the day was excellent a good insight to the animals and ability to work alongside the staff at the park. most accommodating and helpful with the animals.

an amazing day well worth it if you are thinking of undertaking the day.

the friendliness of Arron and Kirsty is fantastic they couldn't do more to accommodate what you required.

thank you
thank you
thank you.

a really good day out. go and experience the day well done.

400 keepers and 100 special shots to me. so well worth the money? EVERY PENNY THAT IT WILL COST YOU!!

I too would like to thank Arron and Kirsty for such a great day.

I've also got to mention the great help and all the wonderful 'behind the scenes' access we had at Blair Drummond. If this is a taster of what you get, then it will be really good value and a worthwhile day out.

The highlight for me was probably the feeding of the lions. To see all the lions making a sprint for the meat which was only about 15-20 feet away from us was great. In fact I have that many shots of the lions eating that it will take a few days to narrow down the ones I am keeping.

Once again my wholehearted thanks to both Arron and Kirsty for making the day such a success.

One tip I will have for anyone attending is that you would need a telephoto of at least between 70-200 and loads and loads of memory cards.

Hi Arron & Kirsty,

Again, can I just say a big thank you for yesterday's outing, I really enjoyed the day and am pleased with the results. I think based on the response you got from the other guys, I think you may be on to a winner here.

Anyway, here's a few things that I've thought about:

* The two of you were very open and welcoming to us & provided good information about the park upon arrival. The atmosphere was relaxed from the word go and this can only be a good thing, especially if you are faced with a group of 4-6 who are complete strangers to one another

* Park staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, which added to the day overall. I got the impression that the staff were really keen to help you both, and they seemed genuinely interested in your day

* The itinerary flowed well, there didn't seem to be any points where we were stuck for things to do, there weren't any occasions where we were jumping around from location to location, everything seemed to follow a logical path. There was also good scope for a degree of flexibility, and I am sure that if any of us wished to go off and shoot/re-shoot a particular animal, you would have been happy to accommodate this request

* The lions feeding was a fantastic experience, as were the other 'behind the scenes' activities e.g chimps, sea lions, birds of prey etc. Having been to the park as a regular visitor a couple of years ago, I fully appreciate the exclusive nature of these activities and for me it was excellent.

Thanks to Arron, Kirsty and Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park for what can only be described as an amazingly tremendous opportunity and a truly unique experience.

Right from the start, I think we all knew this was going to be something special. And we weren't disappointed. Photo opportunities aplenty from watching the lions feasting on their breakfast close-up to watching the meerkats napping in the sun. Your organisation skills are superb.

Simply AWESOME! Thank you.
